Sustainable Productivity and Employability

The Sustainable Productivity expertise group boosts sustainable labour productivity in organisations. By sustainable we mean solutions that help enhance the health of employees and contribute to what organisations (industry, public sector) need to 'survive' in a state of health.

Healthy labour is the best building block an organisation can have. The goal can be achieved by continually looking at the possibilities generated by the latest technologies and the most recent organisational trends. For devising and implementing these solutions we coin the term 'social innovation'.

It is difficult to measure productivity that has persisted for a time but TNO has done a lot of research in this field in the (health)care sector, industry, business services and government. Using methods of measuring that combine social organisation issues with human factors knowledge, TNO can help industry and organisations at home and abroad to boost their productivity, health, employee comfort and development.
